First Visit

Your first orthodontic appointment.

Information From Your Local Northridge & Woodland Hills Orthodontists

The team at Blooming Smiles looks forward to meeting you during your first visit to our orthodontic office. It’s a great opportunity to meet all of our friendly team members and become familiar with the layout of our office. We will provide you with a small tour so you know where everything is when you come in for appointments. We will also introduce you to our staff and discuss your teeth. Whether you need pediatric dentistry or a premier Northridge and Woodland Hills orthodontist, the team at Blooming Smiles can help you achieve all of your oral health goals.

What To Expect

During the first visit, we like to create a customized treatment plan for our patients. Since every person has different needs and goals for their teeth, we ask a few questions to gain clarity. Here are a few of the questions we might ask you:

Do any of your teeth cause you any problems?
Do you feel any pain in your mouth?
Do you have any questions for us?

Our experienced orthodontist, Dr. Payam Sanjideh, will conduct a thorough examination to determine if there are any problem areas in the teeth. Our team may also conduct a few X-rays or photographs of your teeth, and perhaps even a mold of your bite. This allows us to look at your teeth from all different angles and ensure everything is working together properly. If there are some problem areas, we will discuss together the treatment options available and make a plan for achieving healthy, straight teeth and gums.
